Not sure when this was, but they still do it nowadays – make nonswimmer (nonswimming) girls swim to make up numbers… so evil... poor deb had to swim at her school swimming meet last Saturday… we just bought her swimsuit on CNY Eve. Haha.

I have now a great abhorrence of swimming. Strange when my main sport in school was it.... Particularly in so-called heated pools in the UK. They never are and their temperature is just about equivalent to ambient (which usually is a toe-curling, goose pimpling 18 C or below).
I admire my PA who goes swimming each morning before work, snow notwithstanding. Maybe she needs that jump-start in the mornings working for me !
